Simple and straightforward, Promotional Videos are a phenomenal way to introduce yourself or business to potential clients and customers. Mohawk Crew will help you script your “on camera” dialog, which serves as a road map to the final edit. Projects like this typically only take one day to film. We work in minimal numbers which allows us to keep our costs down. By utilizing the specialized talents of individual team members, we can quickly create a quality product using a combination of professional audio/video recording equipment, drone footage, animated photography, and on screen graphics; accompanied by “royalty-free” background music. Most importantly, this type of production delivers valuable information to your audience, in a short amount of time. So, whether you’re looking to broadcast on television or display online, let us help show the world who you are, in your own words!
We all know what a TV commercial is, so we'll graciously spare you the explanation... What we would like you to know is that Mohawk Crew has made a lot of high quality content for broadcast media. There's no telling how many viewers have seen our work, but our content has been featured on Animal Planet, Discovery Channel, America's Auction Channel (formerly America's Auction Network), as well as, local TV in Tampa and Orlando. So when you're ready to step up your game and advertise on the small screen, please consider hiring our team to produce your vision and help present it to the world.
A quick look at 3D Set Design, Green Screen, and compositing sample. While creating a digital environment for your talent sounds cool and fun, think Star Wars, it also comes with it's own challenges. Quality lighting and understanding the depth of focus on your subject is a must. You want a sharp clean edge, free of any light spillage or background 'key" color bouncing onto your subject. Going this route can often save some money early on, related to locations and permits. It may save some time by eliminating issues that arise in regards to natural elements. But, it does require more work on the back end. Ultimately, the costs will balance out or often times be even be more expensive. That said, this is a great technique to render your actors in places or situations that would otherwise be impossible.
Just like Television Commercials except formatted for the Web and Social Media. Most will likely never actually advertise on TV because, well, it’s expensive! But it’s probable that they would want to promote their work, live events, recaps, products or services online. Regardless, the production process is essentially the same.
There are numerous benefits for a company or brand to approach marketing in this way. First and foremost, Webfomercials allow you to present a lot of valuable information in a relatively short amount of time. They can be interactive, boosting customer engagement and encourage them to actively participate in your promotion. The best part? Once your video is posted, it will live on forever. At least until you take it down.
We absolutely love documentaries at Mohawk Crew. We watch tons of them... and we make them too! There's something extremely satisfying about helping someone tell their story, in their own words. Are you looking for a great way to teach history that may have been skipped over in school? Want to raise awareness and draw attention to a special cause or interest? Trying to provide your customers with a company backstory? Simply want to memorialize something you're passionate about? What about a conspiracy theory?... Well, those can all be conveyed in documentary form too. The possibilities are literally endless. Please contact us with your ideas.
Have a special event, party, or celebration? Let us Immortalize it with our live event coverage and recap editing services. Whether it's a corporate occasion or an intimate family function, this is a great way to highlight key moments, guests, and all other happenings that tell your story. Here'e an example from the "Florida Assisted Living Association" annual holiday party. The theme? Roaring 20's.

To start, Mohawk Crew can use existing photos or schedule a professional photoshoot and capture new ones. Need help editing, color correcting, re-touch or cropping? We do that too. After the images are approved and the ordering of individual slides has been confirmed, we use motion dynamics to animate the position, rotation and scale of the photos. That movement, combined with simple, modern transitions, insure a smoothly flowing video that is comfortable and enjoyable to watch. Adding some on-screen text, logos or graphics can take a project like this to the next level. Finally, we set the mood with some music, in a style of your choosing. That’s it. Now, you're ready to upload and share on your favorite social media apps or website.
Mohawk Crew, in collaboration with the Deadite Empire and Frenchy's Restaurants, have hosted many of these events over the years. And while the Zombie Walks and Pub Crawls themselves are great, we could argue that making commercial advertisements is even more fun! This is one of our favorites from 2013.
Because it was so deeply personal, this is one of the toughest slideshows we've ever made. Our little sidekick "Pooka" was our world... He made every day brighter and brought joy to us on Mohawk for 17 years. We have so many fond memories. From all road trips and adventures to watching the sunset and going to the beach, he was truly a unique soul. And we are blessed to have had him in our lives.
Some of the most rewarding content I created was while working with Animal Planet, Pet Video and Discovery Channel. This is one of many "short edit" videos that I put together for their Veterinary Tech Project.
From Feature Films to Advertising, Television to Social Media; Mohawk Crew has decades of experience offering a range of complete and comprehensive A/V Production, Motion Graphics and Animation services. We'll walk you "step-by-step" throughout the process, beginning with the "First Draft" and ending with the "Final Cut". Regardless of content, there are three main phases to any production, though not all are required for any particular project.
Pre-Production: This encompasses all that is needed to lay the groundwork for success and get the process moving. It includes financing, planning, hiring, location/talent scouting, deciding what equipment to use, and everything in between. There are some creative aspects as well:
Production: Also known as "Principal Photography", this phase is when we shoot and record video footage and audio on location. This includes B-roll, voice-overs, or other sound effects necessary to complete the project in the final stages. The size of the crew depends on the scope of the project. Some essential on set team members could be as follows:
*Note that behind the scenes, we can also start preparing animations, graphics, text and logos for the final product.
Post-Production: The final phase is where the magic happens. Subsequently, this is also the most tedious, time consuming part of process. Again, the scope of your project will greatly affect the editing timeline and number of individuals required to complete a certain task. To begin, we compile all the footage and sound so that our specialists can work to organize, compile, sequence, and enhance raw footage into high-quality video. Editors make color corrections if needed and Engineers mix audio recordings with music and sound effects. If the final video requires compositing, green screen, motion graphics or other special effects, our Animators will be part of the post process too.
Once you video is approved, we can export videos in a variety of sizes and aspect ratios to fit your needs. Some examples may by “horizontal” (media standard), “vertical" (for tik-tok) or "Square" (for instagram). We also offer larger format options that can be broadcast live or played on your TV such as HD, UHD and 4K.
*Please note that whichever route you decide to go, the final format decisions typically must be made at the beginning of the process. Think about where your video will be viewed and we'll go from there. Generally, we can size things down fairly easily without losing quality, but sizing them up will likely produce undesired results.
